The Albertus® Nova typeface takes the best of the original Albertus design – sharp, flaring serifs modeled on letters chiseled in bronze – and expands the original character set. Subtle design changes, some new characters, a re-introduction of alternate capital letters, a total of five weights and added Greek and Cyrillic versions, distinguish the Albertus Nova typeface design. Albertus Nova is a faithful digital revival of Berthold Wolpe’s earlier design and is one of the five designs in The Wolpe Collection of typefaces.
